Engage with senior executives on risk management initiatives Facilitate and deliver risk management training workshops Strong commercial acumen Reporting to the Manager Group Risk, Quality & Assurance, our client has an opportunity for an experienced Risk professional to assist in the development, management and advancement of the company’s Risk Management Framework. The role will drive a proactive and robust risk management culture at every level of the organisational. You will partner with all divisions throughout the organisation to ensure effective risk management practices and that all regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements are met through risk and assurance support. This will include risk workshops, business continuity plans and testing, compilation of Lead Risk Committee papers, management of compliance obligations register, coordinating the update of policies and procedures etc. The role will be responsible for managing potential loss to the business by conducting Business Impact Assessments and working with relevant business areas in ensuring they have up to date BCPs including development and implementation of a testing program. Providing assistance in coordinating crisis simulation exercises including updating the Crisis Management Plan you will manage and administer the fraud analytic platform on behalf of the Group including provision of support to the business and training and ensuring Enterprise Risk system is up to date. Suitable candidates will have tertiary degree qualifications in Business or a related discipline with a minimum 5 – 10 years’ experience in risk management and demonstrated prior experience with ISO 31000:2018. You will have experience in risk management, compliance, and audit frameworks and ability to interpret legislation and an understanding of compliance frameworks. You will be confident in the preparation of Board papers/business cases and have the ability to build relationships with people at all levels. Financial acumen and high level of competency with major software packages including MS Office. Proficiency in the use of Power BI and experience in performing external or internal audits would be an advantage. At times you may be required to travel to other within WA and interstate.
