Full Job Description: We are on the search for an experienced administrative professional with prior infrastructure or construction experience to provide high-level support to the Infrastructure Development Department. This position is ideal for those wanting to develop their skills within local Government. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, a proactive attitude and strong administration experience. Located near Perth Airport, this is a 1-month, casual full-time role with an immediate start. Key Responsibilities: Reviewing and accessing applications related to infrastructure approvals and crossovers. Undertake research, prepare correspondence and other associated tasks. Handle public enquiries, complaints, and correspondence. Collect data, maintain statistics, and manage related databases. Provide back up and support to other members of the Design Assets & Development administration team. Look for ways to improve work systems, policies, and practices, and report on them. The Successful Candidate: Previous relevant administrative experience at an equivalent level working within a technical, building and/or planning environment. Good decision making and problem-solving skills Always keeping confidentiality. Proven high level skills with computer applications, in particular the Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e. Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) Experience with an Electronic Records Management system and specialised technical programs is desirable.
