We're working with a leading financial services organisation who are seeking an immediately available Senior System Administrator to join them on a 3-month contract. This role will play a key part in a Linux server decommissioning project, ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient removal of legacy systems. What you'll be doing: Lead the decommissioning of Linux servers as part of an infrastructure optimisation program. Work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure compliance and minimal business disruption. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the decommissioning process. Contribute to documentation and reporting throughout the project. What we're looking for: Strong experience as a Senior System Administrator, with a focus on Linux systems. Proven track record in server decommissioning or migration projects. Exposure to VMware and Wintel environments highly advantageous. Ability to work independently and meet tight project timelines.
