THE MONDAY GROUP is partnering with an established and values-driven hospitality staffing agency to appoint a commercially minded Business Development Manager. Known for their long-standing reputation in premium service, this agency provides staffing solutions across corporate, event, and luxury hospitality sectors. As they look to expand their footprint, this role will take the lead on identifying and converting new business opportunities - particularly across corporate hospitality, catering, and the aged care sector, where demand for hospitality-led service is growing rapidly. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity (24 hours/week) suited to a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and driving measurable results. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your schedule and territory - out in the field, connecting face-to-face with decision-makers. Key Responsibilities: • Proactively identify, engage, and convert new clients across corporate hospitality, aged care, and events • Lead outbound outreach, networking, and pitch development • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and meetings through to proposal and onboarding • Represent the agency at industry events, client meetings, and in-market activations • Help shape the agency’s approach to aged care staffing, a key growth pillar • Maintain accurate records and activity tracking via CRM • Report on sales performance and market trends to the leadership team • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure new client success and long-term retention About You: • 3 years in B2B sales, workforce solutions, or business development • Deep understanding of hospitality, staffing, or client service industries • Proactive, commercially savvy, and confident working autonomously • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder • Experience in or exposure to aged care, events, or corporate hospitality a plus • Thrives in a part-time, high-trust, results-driven environment Role Structure & Benefits: • 24 hours/week, flexible across 4 days • Predominantly WFH with weekly office check-ins and regular client-facing activity • Base salary $90,000–$100,000 super (pro rata) • Immediate start THE MONDAY GROUP is a specialist recruitment agency and executive search firm for the events, experiential marketing, hotel & hospitality industries.
