Impact You Will Have in This Role: This newly created role will be critical in driving an ambitious new five-year strategic plan aimed at raising awareness of the critical challenges hospital staff face in delivering high-quality patient care. Reporting to the Head of Development and Growth, the Individual Giving Manager is responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of the Individual Giving program. This includes annual appeals, regular giving, digital acquisition, donor segmentation, stewardship, and supporter engagement initiatives within the hospital and broader community. This is a hands-on role for a passionate fundraiser who thrives on end-to-end campaign management, enjoys working cross-functionally within a hospital setting, and is energised by the opportunity to develop a greenfield program to achieve sustainable income that helps improve patient treatment and care. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning and delivery of multi-channel fundraising campaigns, appeals and regular giving. Collaborate with the Head of Development to shape strategy for donor growth and income generation. Design and implement donor journeys, onboarding, and stewardship in line with POWHF’s engagement framework. Oversee in-hospital supporter engagement programs, including F2F and digital onboarding via WiFi. Build targeted supporter segments, focusing on younger demographics and digital-first strategies. Manage campaign budgets, forecast income, and track ROI across acquisition and retention initiatives. Ensure compliance with fundraising legislation and keep informed of sector trends. Develop high-quality donor communications in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct donor research and surveys to inform campaign strategy and content direction. Maintain accurate donor records and report on KPIs, income, and donor metrics. Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to stakeholders. Proactively identify risks and opportunities to optimise individual giving outcomes. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in Individual Giving or Regular Giving roles, with a track record in managing multi-channel appeals and achieving fundraising targets. Relevant tertiary qualifications in fundraising, marketing, communications or related fields, or equivalent practical experience. Proven ability to design and deliver high-performing fundraising programs. Deep understanding of audience behaviour and segmentation strategies that drive response and donor conversion. Hands-on experience in digital acquisition, supporter journeys, and donor engagement across a range of channels. Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results with autonomy and accountability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent stakeholder and relationship management abilities. Demonstrated passion for innovation in healthcare fundraising.
