Are you an experienced accountant with strong financial reporting skills and a passion for precision? We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical and self-driven Financial Accountant to support our Owners Corporation (OC) team in managing the financial integrity of our residential property portfolio. Responsibilities: Produce and review quarterly financial statements including balance sheets, income & expenditure reports, bank reconciliation, trial balance, GST/income tax reconciliation, and debtor/creditor reconciliation. In consultation with Owners Corporation (OC) Managers, assist with budget setting and monitoring for each building complex by analysing expenditure patterns, allocations, and forecasting. Prepare and review quarterly financial statements and balance sheets for each complex, analyse expenditure, and report anomalies. Ensure accurate coding and processing of accounts and invoices; review and approve for payment where required. Respond to general financial enquiries from staff and OC members. Maintain a standardised coding system and account profile for each building. Oversee account and bank reconciliations. Prepare and lodge Tax Returns and complete Business Activity Statements. Assist in preparing for annual audits. Perform other duties as required to ensure all financial tasks. About you: Proven experience in financial reporting, reconciliation and tax lodgment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities. A proactive, mature approach with demonstrated initiative and leadership. A collaborative mindset to provide technical support and drive continuous improvement. Formal qualifications in a financial, accounting or related discipline are required for this position.
