We are looking for a highly skilled tiler and you’ll need to be passionate, especially about meeting the timelines with highly professional attitude, and also making sure your team gives exceptional service to every customer. Qualifications & experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience A current QBCC License A full Drivers License Industry white card Atleast a cert III in tiling Present well and have good customer communication skills Reliable and punctual Your key responsibilities will include: Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work Tiling to residential wet areas and main floors, all work is renovations. Patch repair render to walls and screed floors with pre-mixed sand and cement. Spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes Ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced Build bath hobs and nib walls when required. Waterproofing of wet areas to Australian standards. Installation of rectified tiles to a high a standard and reasonable pace. Grouting of tiled areas to a high standard leaving tiled area clean and free of dust. Keep work site clean and tidy. You will be required to attain a Working with Children Check and Police Check if you do not already have one.
