Job Statement About Genesis Mining Services Pty Ltd (GMS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genesis Minerals Limited. GMS has been established to provide in-house open pit mining services in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. About the Role We are seeking experienced and motivated Heavy Diesel Fitters to join an inclusive and cohesive team at our Leonora operations, where the ‘way we work’ is just as important as the expertise we demonstrate every day. The roles are on offer on a 15 days and nights, 13 off FIFO roster and require proactive individuals with a solution-focused approach, strong technical expertise in modern mining fleets, and a "can-do" attitude to play a critical role in maintaining fleet reliability, safety, and efficiency, whilst fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. Key responsibilities include: Preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and unplanned repairs on Hitachi, Komatsu, and Caterpillar mining equipment Ensure that works performed are done in a safe manner and in line with WHS legislation and company OH&S standards Ensure that machines operating within the project are maintained to company standards and as per OEM specifications Report to the Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter on day-to-day activities, breakdowns and labour requirements Promote and maintain a positive safety culture within the team What you can expect from us A supportive, innovative and inclusive culture Professional and positive team environments on site, and at all facilities A 'grow our own' approach with a preference to develop and promote internally Access to professional development activities and educational assistance Competitive salary, and options for salary sacrificing Our team lives by the ASPIRE Values – Accountable.
