About the role: You will be required to answer phones, enter customer quotes and orders, read and create both CAD and PDF drawings, and follow up on quotes. Additional essential duties will include programming and nesting (Sigmanest), supplying customer test certificates, as well as other ad-hoc duties. What you will be responsible for: Maintaining high levels of customer service with a focus on Sales Accurately estimating quantities from plans, bills, and engineering drawings Providing timely quotes to customers specifications Follow up on active quotes and assist to a build pipeline of work Liaise with the operations team to ensure to ensure that orders are scheduled and despatched to achieve full DIFOT Requirements Knowledge of or experience in the steel or construction industry is preferred. Previous customer service and Sales experience Ability to work independently and part of the team Attention to detail Intermediate computer and math skills Please note, as health & safety is important to us, you will be asked to complete a pre-employment drug screen if you are to be successful.
