This role plays an important part in first impressions for our guests. The Service Stylist is required to coordinate the guest experience at The Langham Melbourne and take an active part in ensuring all service needs are met from reservations through to departures. We expect our Service Stylist to be an ambassador of the hotel portfolio, to take an active interest in the guests who visit our properties and show a willingness to complete all duties with absolute attention to detail. Some tasks of the role: 1. Possess a standard of guest service where each and every customer feels like a welcomed guest. 2. Be aware of facilities and points of interest in hotel environs to assist with any guest inquiries. 3. Familiarisation of the flow of guests throughout the hotel. Ensure presence during peak times to offer any assistance to our guests. 4. Spend time in each of our Front of House areas; driveway, ground floor lobby, reception lobby, Aria, Melba, Chuan Spa, Banqueting, Langham Hotel Club. 5. Encourage selling and upselling of Hotel outlets and facilities. 6. Showcase our guest rooms, outlets and banquet facilities to potential guests. Assist the Sales and Catering departments with site inspections. 7. Monitor the return guest and loyalty programs, based on guest preferences and history. Ensure preferences are met. 8. Provide a high level of interaction and a high level of conversation skills to ensure guest satisfaction. This is mainly provided by self initiative.
