Description About the role You will lead a team responsible for the design and delivery of commissioning and allocations strategies for new and existing housing developments across our national portfolio. This role plays a key part in ensuring inclusive, fair and efficient allocation of homes, aligned with regulatory requirements and Housing Choices Australia’s placemaking framework. This role is ideal for someone who excels at people management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and inclusive community development. Manage the team responsible for allocating new and existing housing Oversee the development of commissioning plans for new mixed-tenure housing Oversee tenancy allocation processes in line with regulatory and program requirements Collaborate across development, property and housing services teams Build relationships with external partners to ensure positive housing outcomes About the team The Customer Services division is central to delivering responsive, resident-focused services that foster safe, inclusive, and supportive housing communities. We design and implement housing services that prioritise resident wellbeing, accessibility, and satisfaction, utilising customer insights to inform continuous improvement. It ensures residents receive personalised support aligned with their diverse needs, enhancing quality of life and community connection. Skills And Experiences About you You will have: Ability to lead, motivate, mentor and manage people A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in housing, social services or community development Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Knowledge of housing policy, allocations frameworks and inclusive housing practices Experience in commissioning or allocations planning in a regulated or community setting is highly desirable You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
