As our new Safety and Assurance Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of safety and quality assurance within Ulan West. The role involves managing safety processes, ensuring adherence to regulations, and identifying and mitigating risks to protect workers, the public, and the environment. Establish and maintain safety management systems ensuring all personnel meet legislative and operational requirements Drive continuous improvement in safety performance through advanced risk management methodologies and predictive safety analytics Develop and facilitate the site assurance programs Lead comprehensive incident investigations using advanced methodologies such as ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method) and Human Factors analysis Manage quality activities, monitor quality processes, and ensure adherence to quality standards Maintain accurate records of safety procedures, incidents, and investigations, and prepare reports for management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mining engineers, geologists, and operational leaders to integrate safety considerations into operational planning Conduct systematic audits and reviews of safety management system effectiveness Champion behavioural safety initiatives and safety leadership development programs across all levels of the organisation What can Ulan West and Mudgee offer you?
