EXPRESSION OF INTEREST INTERNAL OPPORTUNITY - HIGHER DUTIES ROLE Daily Park Inspector $30.11 per hour Part Time (Higher Duties) Wet’n’Wild, Oxenford, Gold Coast The opportunity: A Daily Park Inspectors role is to assist the Operations division in ensuring all Amusement Devices and their surrounding areas have been inspected and are in operating order for the public prior to park opening. Your day to day: • Setting the example by following all Policies & Procedures, whilst adhering to the VRTP Code of Conduct • Inspect all Amusement Devices and surrounding areas of the park to ensure they are in operating order for the public prior to park opening • Report any hazards, faults, damaged or changes to the condition of attractions and surrounding areas of the park prior to opening • Liaise with the Maintenance Department and Park Supervisor to ensure that all relevant communication is passed on in preparation for park opening • Monitor and report tube levels prior to park opening • Complete daily reports on completion of inspections What you’ll bring: • Minimum12 months experience as a VRTP Lifeguard • Ability to work over a 7-day roster and able to start at 8:15am in off-peak, and earlier as required during extended trade or event periods • Must be available on days that meet business requirements • Strong safety focus and attention to detail • A professional appearance and attitude, integrity in daily duties • Demonstrates the ability to work independently, and within a team • Has clear and effective communication skills • Sets a positive example within their current role • Operating Control positions advantageous • Has a proven record of strong work attendance, and not currently on a wellness plan • Performance dossier does not have any Verbal Warnings issued within the last THREE months • Performance dossier does not have any Written Warnings issued within the last SIX months
