About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join our Adelaide Deal Advisory team. In this rol e you will have the opportunity to work on engagements across a range of Deal Advisory specialisations including valuations, due diligence , transaction support, financial projections and modelling, and other assignments includin g corporate advisory and capital raising. Our team partners with small, medium and large organisations to support them in identifying and facilitating opportunities in Australia and across the globe. We have a hands-on and practical approach and a deep understanding of the Deal Advisory industry locally and internationally. Responsibilities: Analysing company operations, and historical and projected financial information Undertaking research and analysis for support of the assumptions considered in valuations Applying valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow, capitalised maintainable earnings, and option pricing models Conducting research on companies, the economy, industries and comparables using the internet and other dedicated research tools Constructing, reviewing, and amending financial models using Excel Writing reports in Word and PowerPoint Communicating with clients and other stakeholders to progress engagements About You 1-2 years’ relevant corporate finance experience or accounting experience with undergraduate or postgraduate studies in corporate finance Be undertaking (or interested in undertaking) CA and/or CFA qualifications Have strong communication and interpersonal skills Have some experience preparing high quality documents & presentations, demonstrating attention to detail and strong written communication skills Have the ability to work independently and contribute to a team Be confident in interacting with clients at all levels Why BDO?
