Job reference: 494772 Applications close: 04 September 2025 Exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Platform Architect to lead platform support, enhancements, and strategy while driving business efficiency and growth. About the Role Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Applications the primary responsibility of the Salesforce Platform Architect role is to provide support for and maintain the Salesforce platform, manage vendors when required, as well as work with various teams to gather requirements and make recommendations as required. The position will play an integral part of Application Delivery Team, executing day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and ensuring that we are maximizing the efficiencies and capitalising on the full features and benefits of Salesforce. The Architect will work closely with the technical and business leaders to design and implement enhancements and maintenance to meet the current needs of the business as well as anticipating our company's increasing scale and growth. Key Responsibilities: Govern the technical architecture, design & development of the Salesforce solution including ensuring standards are documented in Confluence and followed by the team. Providing assurance that the project or program is appropriately using Salesforce technical capabilities to solve business problems. Actively participate within scrum teams to continuously improve and uplift our Salesforce capability. Manage the release and deployment process for the Salesforce application. Complete hands-on technical delivery including Salesforce configurations, coding, integrations and deployments. Communicating and presenting ideas to others and driving outcomes that meet client requirements. Participate in Salesforce Roadmap, Project initiatives and solution design discussions. Work with the Operations, Community and Shared service teams to work cross-functionally to gather requirements, build and communicate key insights, identify product opportunities and offer recommendations for future improvements. Support the Head of Enterprise Applications and wider IT teams by contributing to establishing streamlined processes that support administrative, Jira tickets, development and change management initiatives. Provide guidance & training to improve adoption of solution components across the organisation. Complete regular internal system audits and maintain or create platform documentation. Create and maintain system documentation, enhancements and supporting materials, keeping up to date in accordance with IT policies, procedure, and standards. Provide expert technical advice and recommendations to the Head of Enterprise Applications and contribute to the wider IT team as required. Oversight of vendors completing BAU maintenance, deployments, administration activities and enhancements to ensure they are delivering expected outcomes in line with Yooralla standards and policies. Work closely with external parties such as NDIA to maintain the API connection, any changes and ensure interface is secure and data is encrypted Work closely with third party partners to commission outcomes for specified enhancements to mission-critical applications Experience and Capabilities: 7 years of experience in a similar Salesforce Technical position Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality Deep technical Knowledge in Salesforce Clouds (Sales & Service Cloud, CPQ, Experience, Marketing) High level of experience with Automation Workflows, Visual Flows and Process Builder Ability to build/add custom objects, formula fields, triggers, custom views, reports, dashboards, and other features of intermediate-advanced complexity (using Lightning Experience) and deploy through CICD pipeline. Advanced experience with Dataloader/XL Connector/Workbench demonstrated experience of effectively managing vendors; Experience with integration tools like Jitterbit or Mulesoft Demonstrated understanding of underlying client business problems and the ability to develop Salesforce technology-enabled solutions that addresses their needs.
