We're looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Risk & Assurance team based in Brisbane with a focus on Risk and Process Safety in the Queensland market. The Risk & Assurance Management team is an integral part of GHD Business Advisory, we address of our clients' needs across markets, from strategic engagements to the operational face and throughout the project life cycle. The Senior Advisor plays a key role in the development and mentoring of Graduates and Advisors. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Providing innovative risk solutions to our clients across a variety of Industries and Markets Leveraging internal and external relationships and contributing to business development activities within the team Performing a variety of risk assessments and techniques for clients Undertaking technical risk modelling using various Risk and Consequence software. Immersing yourself into projects and working with budget and commercial deliverables Promoting relationships with existing and potential clients leading to the prospect of repeat business through exceptional client service Preparing concise, accurate and focused written analysis, recommendations and presentations under the direction of the team's executive advisors People leadership to provide direction and coaching to develop team members and contribute to the overall functioning of the Business Group Technical leadership and involvement in projects and direction and input on tenders/bids or proactive client proposals Facilitating effective risk workshops What you will bring to the team: Degree qualification in Engineering or Science related to process safety (Chemical, Mechanical preferred) or similar discipline 5 to 10 years industry experience in a recognised consulting, chemical processing, heavy industry, transport, mining, corporate or regulatory environment Experience working in a risk, audit, governance or compliance position Experience facilitating workshops using a variety of risk assessment techniques e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, SMS, FMEA, bowties Experience undertaking risk and consequence modelling Experience developing scopes of work and cost estimates for proposals Training in the use of specific risk software will be provided but previous experience in PHAST, SAFETI, @Risk, PHAPro, BowtieXP is highly desired Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; a proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong project management skills Additional Skills Data Collection and Analysis Adaptive Mindset Review and Reporting Project Estimating, Tracking and Reporting Competencies we seek in the candidate to be successful Effective Communicator Takes Accountability and Instils trust Plans, Aligns and Optimises work programs Ability to manage Change and Complexity Makes Quality Decisions Interested? - Apply Now LI - MG GHD is an equal opportunity employer, and we want everyone to be able to fully participate in our recruitment process.
