Job Title: Clinician, Gatehouse Sexual Assault Service Western Melbourne Location Excellent employee benefits including salary packaging Friendly and supportive team environment About the role This is a Full-Time, ongoing position at 80 hours per fortnight within Gatehouse’s Sexual Assault Support Services Team. You will provide therapeutic and support services within a trauma model of recovery, for children and young people who have experienced sexual harm and their non-offending family members. You will also be responsible for contributing to Intake by receiving and responding to referrals for service, inquiries regarding child sexual abuse, harmful sexual behaviour and crisis care presentations and be required to participate in the after-hours crisis care roster. What you’ll achieve: Delivery of quality and evidence-based assessment, therapeutic interventions and support for children/young people who have experienced sexual harm and their family members Contribution to a culture of open and effective communication, teamwork and lifelong learning Development and maintenance of positive relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Classification for this position will range from Social Worker Grade 2, Years 1-4 (SC21 – SC24), Psychology Grade 2, Years 1-4 (PK1 – PK4 or Occupational Therapy Grade 2, Years 1-4 (VF6 – VF9). About Gatehouse Sexual Assault Service Gatehouse Sexual Assault Service is a department of the Royal Children’s Hospital and a specialist sexual assault service. Gatehouse provides therapeutic interventions and support for Children and young people aged 0-17 and their non-offending family member and carers living in the Brimbank Melton or Western Melbourne areas (Moonee Valley, Maribyrnong, Melbourne Hobsons Bay and Wyndham LGAs) or who are inpatients at the The Royal Children’s Hospital.
