Overview Work Type: Various Salary: $84,870 - $116,846 Grade: STL 5 Occupation: Community services Location: Melbourne Reference: VG/FA/1873390F Footscray, Dandenong or Bendigo location, with blended work from home/office arrangement Two positions available: one permanent ongoing and one full time 12-month parental leave cover Salary circa $91,000.00 Super Applications close 23 July 2025 About the Team This team manages the financial and legal affairs of our most vulnerable clients whose circumstances are complex and unique and which could further be complicated with multiple critical factors, such as the loss of formal or informal support, mental health concerns and/or disabilities, substance abuse, financial abuse, being at risk from others or demonstrates violent behaviour, at risk accommodation or difficult relations (family breakdowns or conflict) etc. These clients are appointed to us through the Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal. About the Role As a Specialised Support Consultant, you will understand your clients' complex needs to deliver quality service and manage their financial and legal affairs under the Guardian and Administration Act 1986 and 2019. Your clients will have unique, complex situations, often involving critical factors like loss of support, mental health issues, disabilities, substance or financial abuse, violent behavior, risky accommodation, or family conflicts. This challenging yet rewarding role requires creative thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
