Our Digital Delivery team in Sydney offers Civil Design Documentation services in collaboration with diverse multidisciplinary teams, delivering projects across Transport, Water, Energy, and Property sectors. We’re looking for an experienced Civil Design Technician to join us and help us deliver exciting Design & Construct projects in the Water sector with a focus on pressure and gravity pipelines. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you: Collaborate and work on major infrastructure projects alongside industry leading engineers. Lead the civil (water) discipline of projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Utilise your expertise to create compliant BIM models. What you will bring to the team: Minimum 8 years’ experience in civil modelling with a sound design understanding in pressure piping, water networks and site wide civil infrastructure for major water infrastructure projects. Exposure to Design & Construct projects with Sydney Water is advantageous. Experience in AutoCAD C3D drafting and modelling, including setting up and administration projects. Experience using CDE’s such as ACC, ProjectWise and Synergy and an understanding of ISO19650 workflows. Experience using Navisworks, ACC Model coordination and federated model tools. Capability to deliver precise engineering design documentation that adheres to standards and procedures with exceptional quality. As an integral part of the engineering / project team, we seek a collaborative approach to deliver optimal solutions for our clients. As such, strong collaboration skills and ability to establish solid relationships internally and with key stakeholders are a key requirement for this role.
