Reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, this role provides high-quality operational data analytics, roster coordination and support to all areas of airport operations. It plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily management of a large international airport, as well as analysing continuous improvement opportunities and overseeing a range of coordination tasks within the Airport Operations Team. With a high level of responsibility and accountability, this role contributes to all facets of airport operations, maintaining efficiency, organisation, and strategic oversight. Key responsibilities : Support the development of staff rosters and changes to time and attendance. Coordinate day to day control of operational rosters including routine leave management and act as the primary interface between payroll and operational staff Create detailed operational workforce models, scenario planning, and forecasting tools to support resourcing and staffing decisions. Support initiatives to improve workforce planning, resourcing models, succession planning, and operational design. Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools to communicate workforce and resourcing insights and supplier performance to leadership Prepare and compile reports on airport activities and operations as requested. Assess future innovations through detailed analytical modelling and engaging with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. Provide high-level operations coordination for the Airport Operations group. Track Airport Operation group projects, managing actions and deadlines. Oversee task planning to support operational deadlines. Plan, coordinate, and deliver internal and external airport events, including stakeholder briefings, community engagement activities, and operational showcases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure event logistics, security, and operational requirements are met. About You Extensive background in a similar role, ideally in an Airport/Aviation operations environment or a related industry such as logistics. Extensive background in a similar role focused on resource management and working with roster coordination, data analytics and support to all areas of airport operations. Significant experience managing rosters and using analytical skills to effectively manage budgets. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially xls and other productivity and reporting tools. Experience using rostering, scheduling, or workforce planning tools will be highly regarded. Experience in performing detailed analytical groundwork—including data cleansing, trend analysis, and report generation – to support innovation identification and feasibility. High attention to detail and ability to manage complexity with disciplined analytical skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage sensitive data. Excellent organisation skills with strong multi-tasking capability. Strong written and verbal communication skills with professionalism in customer service and stakeholder engagement Adaptable and composed under pressure, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Self-motivated with a commitment to accuracy, quality improvement, and continuous learning.
