The Opportunity We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Management Accountant who’s ready to step into a leadership role, with a strong commitment to financial integrity, process improvement, and delivering consistent, high-quality reporting. In this pivotal role, reporting to the CFO, you will lead the preparation of management accounting reports, support project forecasting, and drive improvements in financial systems and processes. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and the broader finance team to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that supports decision-making across Mipac. Key Responsibilities Forecasting & Reporting: Collaborate with Project Managers and other employees to prepare monthly forecasts and project reporting. Management Accounting: Coordinate and maintain Mipac’s financial and management accounting systems, including the general ledger, to ensure a unified and consistent information base that supports accurate reporting and decision-making across the organisation. Process Improvement: Design, implement, and enhance finance processes and procedures to optimise efficiency and accuracy. Audit & Compliance: Support annual and half-yearly audits and reviews, maintaining a strong control environment and accurate records throughout the year. Systems & Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity of management and project reporting systems, including revenue recognition and cost tracking. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing financial insights and guidance. Policy & Procedure Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures, and staying up to date with regulatory requirements. Qualifications and Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline CA or CPA Certification (desirable) 5 years’ experience in a senior finance or project accounting role Proven success in improving financial reporting and processes Experience working closely with project managers in an engineering or technical environment Strong analytical and communication skills High proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office; Greentree experience in a multicompany/multicurrency enterprise is a plus Knowledge of statutory and regulatory compliance requirements Strong attention to detail and understanding of internal control environments What We Can Offer You At Mipac, we pride ourselves on offering an exciting and challenging place to grow your career in an environment that allows for creativity, flexibility, and support.
