This Finance Analyst role is an exciting opportunity, ideally suited to a first time mover from the Accounting firms. Working closely with the Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for creating monthly reports and presentations, assisting with financial analysis, and supporting investment evaluations and preparing business proposals. Description Create monthly reporting, presentations, and documents for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct month-end reconciliations and assist with financial analysis. Support investment evaluations and prepare business proposals for the Investment Committee. Assist in preparing presentation materials for current and potential investors (AGM, Annual Results, ASX presentations). Conduct market research and competitor analysis and share insights with executives. Assist with onboarding new partners and support M&A and refinancing projects. Take minutes of meetings and distribute agendas and supporting documentation. Profile The successful candidate will ideally have a public practice background (Big 4 or Mid-Tier), seeking to make their first move into Commerce. Key traits will also include: A degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience in financial modelling and reporting Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
