About the role To ensure food safety compliance and that we exceed consumer’s expectations of One Harvest products. Provides leadership of the food safety and quality assurance team onsite with the guidance of the National Technical Team. To coordinate, implement and administrate the Food Safety and Quality Management System. To manage activities relating to the preparation, organisation, facilitation, and successful outcome of all regulatory customers, GFSI or other third-party audits and internal OneHarvest standard at the site. Provides leadership on managing new systems or site processes that directly link to food safety or quality performance, such as recipe changes, automation of CCP’s, QCP’s (e.g. Autocoding, AQS). Proactively drive root cause analysis of site near misses and determine trends which need to be actioned, sharing learnings with other sites / national where appropriate. Responsible for designing and delivering all training related to the Food Safety and Quality Management System in liaison with Site People and Capability. Liaise with key stakeholders, contractors, customers, third party auditors and other employees on a regular basis. BRC, WW, Coles standard requirements. Experience of NPD management, specifically existing process and product improvements Project management and use of tools such as critical paths and business cases. Demonstrated experience of managing large teams of people and stakeholders to achieve goals and targets. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) Demonstrate flexibility, able to prioritise own workload, organise workload of team members and work to time deadlines. Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate professionally at all levels from retailer technical representatives to manufacturing site personnel and consumers. Very good written and spoken English. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
