The key duties of the position include The Web, Publishing and Data Visualisation Unit (WPDVU) is made up of several sub-teams, including the Web team, Production team, Digital design team, Data visualisation team and Development and projects team. We publish between 200-300 releases on the AIHW website yearly and support other AIHW-managed websites. The WPVDU have an upcoming opportunity at the APS6 level for highly capable and experienced Project Manager and/or Web Content Author who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment to support the EL1 (Team Lead) in web development and web content, while working closely and collaboratively with all other WPDVU staff, teams as well as the Communication & Engagement Unit within the Group. You will be a high-level strategic thinker, and solutions focused person who can deliver outcomes under limited direction. You will have experience working with technical teams to address issues and make improvements. You will also enjoy being part of a dedicated and creative team, working through issues and possible solutions in a supportive, fun and collaborative environment. Under general direction you will: Collaborate with over 250 decentralised internal CMS authors to support content development, offering expert HTML guidance and ensuring timely, high-quality web releases. Maintain consistency and quality across all web releases, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, government web standards, SEO best practice and WCAG accessibility requirements. Be an outstanding communicator with excellent client liaison skills, including leading meetings, delivering training courses, advising on html and web design and confidently managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Support the web team lead by providing clear and consistent advice to team members and contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
