Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to maintain robust internal controls. Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment. Collaborate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits. Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate governance requirements. Profile A successful Financial Accounting Manager should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. Professional certification such as CPA or CA (or equivalent). Mid-tier or big-4 audit experience is highly regarded Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles. Proven ability to manage financial reporting and compliance processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience leading and mentoring teams in a professional setting.
