Diverting up to 460,000 tonnes of waste annually from landfill, the facility will generate 38 megawatts of baseload power—enough for over 50,000 households—while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 400,000 tonnes per year, equivalent to removing 85,000 cars from Perth’s roads. Position We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Relationship Advisor to join our Energy Recovery SPV team. As the Customer Relationship Advisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing positive relationships with existing suppliers and clients to ensure successful supply to the Energy Recovery facilities. You will be responsible for active supply chain management and account administration for effective fuel supply and ensure contracted interface requirements between customer and the O&M team is maintained. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and sustainable conversion of waste into clean energy, contributing to our commitment to environmental stewardship and resource conservation. Key Responsibilities Develop and Maintain relationships with waste suppliers, offtake contractors and external stakeholders, building rapport through regular and relevant communication Prepare tailored messaging to address specific client objectives and identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction Understand the core procurement models and their benefits Navigate client documents including EOI, RFT, contract and information documents Assist in identifying and documenting commercial risks, Escalate potential commercial issues to manager Work with O&M teams towards successful stock management and fuel planning and report to regulatory authorities in line with associated licensing requirements. Collaborate on external stakeholder engagement activities that promote Energy Recovery initiatives and strengthen supply chain resilience. Carry out routine reconciliation & reporting to support invoicing and payment runs associated with stakeholder transactions. Report on facility performance and supplier performance to ensure contractual obligation are satisfactorily maintained Work with the wider business teams to promote expansion of the Energy Recovery business Lead on supporting education of Energy Recovery within the local communities, in line with fuel supply contractual requirements. Required Skills and Competencies Tertiary qualifications or experience relevant to demonstrate an ability to undertake role Knowledge of waste-to-energy processes, incineration technologies, and renewable energy concepts. Strong understanding of environmental compliance, and waste management practices. Excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
