These contaminants may include sludge, dirt, or other impurities that can impair the performance and longevity of the equipment. The technician will ensures that the systems are thoroughly cleaned, which improves their efficiency and reduces the risk of premature wear or failure. Responsibilities: Review technical specifications and equipment manuals to determine the proper hot oil flushing procedure. Inspect and prepare the equipment, ensuring it is safe for flushing (disconnecting power, securing machinery, etc.). Set up necessary safety measures and ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn. Ensure all materials, including hot oil and flushing equipment, are available and properly stored. Connect the flushing equipment to the system that needs cleaning (e.g., engines, hydraulic systems, turbines, or industrial machinery). Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow to ensure the process is effective and meets specifications. Continuously monitor the flushing process, checking for abnormal pressure, leaks, or other issues that may arise during the operation. Adjust equipment settings as necessary to optimize the cleaning process. Inspect the flushed oil for contaminants and ensure that the system is being thoroughly cleaned. Conduct visual and instrumental checks on the system to verify proper cleaning. Document all relevant details of the hot oil flushing process, including equipment specifications, fluid types, temperature, pressure, and time taken. Record any findings, including any issues encountered during the process, and report these to the appropriate supervisors or engineers. Maintain accurate logs for compliance and future reference. Work closely with maintenance engineers, production teams, and supervisors to ensure that hot oil flushing is performed effectively and on schedule.
