TIC has established itself as a market leader in the power generation sector in Australia, providing industrial equipment, turbines, generators, transformers, motors, battery storage equipment and associated power infrastructure for this industry, including both the supply and installation of new equipment and the maintenance/upgrading of existing equipment. Our Company consists of engineering, technical, commercial and business development staff who are focused on the future needs of the energy industry. Role Summary Toshiba is seeking an experienced industry professional to lead our Power Generation Delivery team, reporting to the Head of Projects. Key responsibilities of this role are: Manage a group of Mechanical Project and Site Managers and Engineers (approximately 8 direct reports) Oversee the execution of TIC Power Generation projects in line with TIC company standards and our Project Management framework Maintain daily communication and engagement with project managers to ensure a strong understanding of current project status and risks Understand the technical aspects of our projects and be able to solve problems in an industrial engineering environment Ensure financial control and reporting of all projects in TIC's PPM system is on track and accurate Identify potential project risks and implement appropriate strategies in response Work with TIC's governance team to ensure project controls are followed to required standards Lead the implementation of QHSE systems and processes during project execution including continuous improvement Identify areas of improvement of TIC's Project Management framework, including developing and establishing new standards for the way we deliver our projects Establish and grow relationships with key customer leadership teams Maintain knowledge of the Energy industry to constantly understand TIC's market position Our ideal candidate will possess: Demonstrated experience managing projects within the thermal energy generation sector Knowledge of the Australian energy generation sector industry technology, trends and customers Experience in all aspects of Project Management Demonstrated experience managing site and office based project teams Experienced in using project management software A degree in engineering, science or equivalent industry trade experience Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Project Management, Business Development, and Production Industries Electric Power Generation Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Toshiba International Corporation - Oceania by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Project Manager” roles.
