Talent Acquisition Advisor – Manufacturing & Trades Location: Wangara, WA – with weekly / bi‑weekly travel to Henderson Employment Type: Option for casual hourly ($55–$60ph super) or fixed‑term 12‑month contract (~$100k super) Hours: Monday to Friday, predominately office‑based About the Company A privately owned Australian manufacturing group supplying engineered wear‑solutions and fabricated products to the mining and resources sector. With multiple WA sites and plans for significant headcount growth over the next 12 months, the business is currently centralising people and systems and building a more structured approach to talent acquisition. About the Role The Talent Acquisition Advisor will manage the full recruitment process across a wide range of roles – from trade assistants, welders and process operators through to engineers, sales, contracts, operations and corporate positions. The position will work closely with hiring managers to understand needs, source and assess candidates, and manage the process right through to onboarding. Key Responsibilities Partnering with hiring managers to take job briefs and raise requisitions Managing advertising on Seek, LinkedIn and other platforms Using direct sourcing methods (LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, networks) Shortlisting, interviewing and coordinating the selection process Preparing offers and coordinating onboarding Managing recruitment tracking (currently spreadsheet‑based) and supporting the introduction of a recruitment database (ATS) as the business grows The Ideal Candidate Experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment (blue‑collar and/or white‑collar) Skilled in direct sourcing and comfortable filling multiple roles at once Organised and able to build structure into a fast‑moving environment Confident working with hiring managers and candidates at all levels What’s on Offer Exposure across a broad variety of roles in a growing manufacturing group Option for casual hourly or fixed‑term employment – flexible to suit the candidate Genuine scope to help build a more structured recruitment process and implement an ATS Exposure across two WA locations (Wangara HQ and Henderson site)
