About the Role As a People Business Partner , you will join the wider People Team, collaborating with fellow People Business Partners located across Australia. This dynamic and supportive team is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. The People Business Partner is a trusted advisor and commercial partner. You will influence and coach leaders through advice, technical expertise and practical solutions. You will be a change champion and advocate for employee engagement. Working in partnership with business leaders and employees, you will use your HR technical skills, competencies and knowledge to research, guide, mentor and coach. You will be able to provide options and solutions to people related matters that result in efficient and effective outcomes that demonstrate our passion for Culture as well as ensuring commercial viability. Key Responsibilities: Analysing, prioritising and responding proactively to business unit needs related to people and providing feedback to management on recommendations for improvement Delivering operational support and guidance on employee relations/counselling, performance management, job design, remuneration and benefits, organisational change management, recruitment, job evaluations, awards, compliance, health & safety, employee development and succession planning Researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve line management issues Monitoring the effectiveness of people services and continually looking for ways to improve Focusing on driving high performance and accountability for people initiatives / programs across the business Being a positive and proactive participant in people related initiatives and work in alignment with the companies Purpose, Values and Vision. Providing a confidential and trusted channel for employee advice, queries, concerns and issues Key Skills and Attributes Required: Strong HR background, open to experience in an advisory role Exposure and understanding of different Enterprise Agreements Exposure to and knowledge of a diverse range of HR specialities including learning & development, remuneration, industrial relation and employment relations, recruitment, succession planning, resource planning and change management and employee engagement Strong knowledge of current employment legislation Experience working with a range of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation Experience in managing organisational change Experience working in a matrix reporting structure is desirable Experience in Workday is advantageous Other Position Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to undergo Pre employment security checks and a National Criminal check Australian Citizenship The People Business Partner may be required to travel and work from various sites and some interstate travel may also be required on occasion.
