About our opportunity As the Administrator, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects by providing administrative support to our Geotechnical and Environmental teams. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for setting up and assisting with quotes and tenders, job management and ensuring all systems are updated and maintained accordingly. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. You should also be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key activities include (but are not limited to): Subcontractor management including bookings and coordination of multiple subcontractors for site works Consistent and accurate project support/administration under the direction and guidance of the department manager/project manager. Maintenance/coordination of schedule and budget/cost updates for projects. Dedicated team support to managers and team members. Complete/manage invoicing for relative departments monthly or as required Cost management and cost control of all contractor and supplier invoices. Assist in timely and accurate submission of quotations and tender/bid documentation. Raise Purchase Orders for relative subcontractors as required and complete billing requirements. Participate in weekly workload meetings. Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships. Skills and Experience Experience within the engineering/construction industry preferred, but not necessary Demonstrated experience in fast paced project and administrative support coordination Demonstrated effectiveness in verbal and written communication Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines This role represents an outstanding opportunity for the right person to join the FMG family and continue to develop your professional career.
