About the Role Southern Cross Transit is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Workshop Admin / Assistant . This full-time role offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive and professional environment, playing an important part in the daily operations of our busy workshop. You’ll work alongside our mechanical and operations teams, providing administrative support and contributing to the efficient functioning of the workshop. Duties and Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to workshop and operations teams Assist in managing staff schedules and workshop bookings Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and correspondence Perform document preparation, filing, and data entry Monitor workshop supplies and assist with parts and inventory control Support internal communication and team coordination About You We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and has a passion for the automotive world. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Experience in the automotive industry or a similar operational environment (preferred) A genuine interest in motor vehicles and workshop operations Strong organisational and time-management skills Great communication and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and accuracy A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn Qualifications and Accreditations Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic setting Why Join Us?
