Calling all events or fundraising students or you, if youre not a student but you are super keen on volunteering with the MND Queensland Fundraising and Events team and getting stuck into supporting all the important behind the scenes magic that goes into running our statewide Walk to Defeat MND, Spring Fling and more! As our awesome Fundraising and Events Volunteer, youll support our events team with light admin and logistics tasks that help bring our fundraising events to life. From preparing materials to helping source amazing raffle prizes, no two days are the same This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, meet great people, and support Queenslanders living with Motor Neurone Disease. As the Volunteer Admin Assistant, you will be: Undertaking light admin tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, printing, photocopying etc Supporting event prep by assisting with online purchases Supporting with donation requests e.g. sourcing raffle prizes for fundraising events Preparing outgoing mail, collecting incoming mail Supporting with donation requests Using Canva to create marketing materials Undertaking other similar tasks to support MND QLD events that may arise About you: Interest in event management and/or fundraising preferred Comfortable in making phone calls for donation requests Comfortable with light administration duties and Office programs Canva experience desirable but not essential Strong attention to detail Able to undertake activities independently and proactively Friendly, down-to-earth attitude Passion for helping others and making a difference Current holder of or willing to apply for NDIS WSC (Yellow card) Category Health Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work Administration & Office Management,Fundraising & Events,Marketing, Media & Communications, Time Required This volunteer opportunity will take place at our office in Oxley from 10am to 3pm every Friday.
