Link-Up (NSW) Aboriginal Corporation assists all Aboriginal people who have been directly affected by past government policies; being separated from their families and culture through forced removal, being fostered, adopted or raised in institutions. Link-Up supports the healing journeys of those removed delivering professional, culturally sensitive and confidential research, reunions and Social, Emotional and Wellbeing services. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced office all-rounder to not only assist in the management of the office, but to also assist the Executive Management Team in their day-to-day requirements. Administration & Receptionist Duties Manage the reception and incoming calls into the organisation. Manage & monitor allocated emails. Process all incoming and outgoing mail. Organisation of couriers for all deliveries. Facilitate daily ‘Staff Whereabouts’ to allow the Team to be kept informed of employee movements. Order & maintain office supplies including stationary, kitchen and bathroom amenities. Assist in the setting up of meetings/events including the coordination of necessary arrangements. Executive Management Support Duties Assist in providing the Executive Management support including management of diaries. Assist in the coordination of Board meetings as directed. Assist in the coordination of the HR processes including recruitment, onboarding and other HR functions as directed. Assist in the ISO9001 Accreditation. Essential Criteria Minimum Certificate IV in Human Resource Management or 3 years experience in a similar role. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Stolen Generation and the impact of past Government policies on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia. Must be able to work 35 hours per week in the office, Monday to Friday. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team including working with people from culturally diverse backgrounds. High level of verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and database application.
