Quality Coordinator – SSTOM Project (Orchard Hills) About Us: The Parklife Metro consortium, in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering one of Western Sydney’s most transformative infrastructure projects as part of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport line. Our consortium—featuring Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild—is delivering this once-in-a-generation project under the Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM) package. This includes six new stations, a stabling and maintenance facility, rail systems, and a fleet of driverless trains. The Opportunity: Employed under Webuild, we are currently seeking a proactive and detail-focused Quality Coordinator to join our high-performing quality team in Orchard Hills. This role supports our Systems & Quality Manager and Senior Quality Advisors in upholding project-wide quality assurance and compliance through document control, inspections, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. This is a great opportunity to work on a large-scale infrastructure project and build a strong foundation in project-based quality systems within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: Review and support implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and other construction documentation. Perform site inspections of construction and subcontractor works to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Maintain up-to-date records and reporting across all quality-related systems and documentation. Support the closure of quality-related items including NCRs, audit findings, and documentation. Assist with internal and external audits, including the development and distribution of audit reports. Monitor supplier and subcontractor compliance with project quality standards. Participate in ongoing quality assurance activities including training, inspections, and improvement initiatives. Support preparation of weekly and monthly quality dashboards and reporting deliverables. About You: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline would be ideal. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality administration, coordination or assurance role on large-scale rail or infrastructure projects. Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001) desirable. Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes, auditing, and inspection record management. Experience working with document control systems (e.g., TeamBinder) and MS Office. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong understanding of construction processes and standards across civil, E&M, architectural, or geotechnical disciplines.
