Position Overview: We are seeking skilled CNC Brake Press Programmer/Operators with industrial experience to join our team in St Marys. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in the engineering workshop, utilizing various tools and equipment to manufacture products to the highest technical standards. A desire to work with your hands coupled with hand and power tool experience, and good mechanical aptitude are the keys to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Proficiency with CNC Brake Press programming, set-up, tool monitoring & tool exchanges, operation and maintenance is essential. CNC Turret Punch and CNC Laser Cutter experience is highly regarded also. Collaborate with team members in the workshop to efficiently produce components and assemblies. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic machines and other tools as required. Work effectively within various teams, following established procedures. Conduct quality assurance checks and identify unacceptable products. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and hit targets. Cleaning and other general hand activities will be expected. A forklift license is desirable. Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role operating CNC Brake Presses is essential. The ability to interpret drawings and envisage fold sequencing is essential. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Strong verbal communication skills.
