Data & Integration Specialist – App Team 3-Month Contract (Rolling Potential) | Product Business | SQL / SSIS / Azure I’m currently working with a fast-growing product business that’s building out their App Team , and they’re looking to engage a Data & Integration Specialist on an initial 3-month contract – with strong potential to extend into a rolling contract. This role sits at the intersection of data and development – ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with app developers while owning data pipelines and backend integrations. You’ll act as the dedicated data specialist supporting customer-facing apps, helping speed up delivery while easing pressure on the central data team. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage SQL Server databases supporting key customer apps Develop and optimize stored procedures, views, and schemas Build and maintain SSIS packages , integrating data between D365, ERP systems, Azure Data Lake, and app databases Partner with app developers to ensure seamless data pipelines for new features Troubleshoot database issues and implement performance improvements Support data governance, quality, and documentation What They’re Looking For: Strong hands-on skills in Microsoft SQL Server (views, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning) Experience building integrations using SSIS Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and/or D365 data structures A collaborative approach – able to work effectively within agile app development teams Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset (Bonus) Exposure to Power BI datasets or reporting pipelines Why Consider This Role?
