ABOUT THE BRANCH Human Resources (HR) Frameworks Branch The Human Resources (HR) Frameworks Branch is responsible for providing HR services to staff of parliamentarians employed under the MOP(S) Act including payroll services, IT systems support, policy development and advice. We work closely with a range of stakeholders including other government departments and agencies in relation to the employment framework covering MOP(S) Act staff. The HR Service Delivery Team is responsible for the management and administration of payroll, systems and processes associated with human resources data and reporting. We are committed to improving service standards through innovation, systems and process enhancements. The key duties of the position include ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We have several vacant positions at various levels in the HR Service Delivery Team within Ministerial and Parliamentary Services. The team members will be required to undertake tasks related to payroll and administrative processes and provide advice and support to approximately 2300 staff of parliamentarians throughout their employment cycle. The team is based in Canberra and has approximately 30 members split into sub-teams responsible for providing payroll, systems and administrative services to staff employed under the under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 (MOP(S) Act).
