The key duties of the position include The Role Joint Systems Division Headquarters (JSD HQ) team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Information Management Officer who has a proven record of delivering business outcomes. As an APS 6 Information Management Officer in the JSD HQ team you will be providing a range of business and information support activities to JSD business units. You will be responsible for a broad range of activities which include but not limited to: records and information management, digital platform administration (SharePoint, House of Governance), and policy development. The APS 6 Information Management Officer will work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability across a broad spectrum of records, information and business management activities. You will exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures. About our Team The JSD HQ team provides executive strategic advice and support in a range of areas to the First Assistant Secretary Joint Systems and the three Branches within the Division delivering capability to Defence. JSD within CASG acquires and provides through-life support to a range of command and control systems, communication systems, tactical interoperability systems, and electromagnetic warfare systems. The Division is functionally arranged in three separate but interlinked Branches with a geographic presence in all of the Australian mainland states and territories and a small headquarters element in Canberra. JSD's prime and over-riding focus is to provide the best possible support to the ADF employing the materiel provided in protecting Australia's interests.
