Some of the tasks you might do as a Contracting Officer include: Developing and issuing tenders and requests for quotation to the market; Participating in contract negotiations between Defence and industry; Providing advice to Defence clients on their contracts; Assisting Defence clients conducting contract performance reviews; Conducting contract governance and reporting activities; and Assisting with procurement policy development. About our Team The Non Materiel Procurement Branch delivers commercial expertise and solutions for procurement and contracting across the procurement life cycle to help Defence meet its objectives, maximise value for money outcomes and meet legislative and mandatory policy requirements. As a branch of high performing individuals, teams work closely together to provide sound and timely advice to support both simple and complex procurement projects. In addition to supporting procurements, the teams review and refine best practice procurement and contracting processes to ensure adherence to regulatory and legislative frameworks.
