They now require an Accountant to join their team in Parramatta, NSW. The Role This is for a full time role with an annual salary ranging from $77,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation and will be based in their office in Parramatta, NSW. Responsibilities Preparation of accounts, tax returns, Business Activity Statements, FBT, and other compliance matters Planning, preparation and execution of financial statements with appropriate note disclosures Liaising with the ATO and other government departments Conducting tax interviews & preparing tax returns Liaising with management to meet corporate accounting and tax obligations. Providing solutions based on current business and financial conditions Performing accounting services including month end close, processing relevant journals, balance sheet, intercompany processing, revenue analysis and statutory accounts production. Preparing ASIC report and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations Helping solve their tax issues and providing technical suggestions with the usage of accounting software such as XERO and MYOB Contribute towards process improvement and implementation and ensuring client confidentiality and privacy, etc. Requirements Must have at least 2 years' accounting experience in a professional commercial capacity gained within Australia Relevant Tertiary degree qualifications in Accounting At least 2 years' commercial experience in Sage, MYOB & XERO Accounting software Must have 2 years' intermediate knowledge and experience with company income tax and GST Must have experience with statutory reporting for BAS, Annual reports, ASIC and ATO reporting Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to multitask while maintaining a calm and efficient demeanour 2 contactable referees to be included in the resume
