What’s On Offer ✅ Take ownership of drafting and compliance at a pivotal stage of company growth ✅ Collaborate closely with decision-makers in a lean, approachable leadership team ✅ Lead the transition to Revit and enhance compliance standards across all plans ✅ See your work directly influence the company’s reputation and scalability ✅ Future progression as the drafting and compliance team grows alongside the business About the Company & Role • Our client is an agile, investor-focused builder with a vision to become Australia’s most adaptable building partner for the investor market • Established just four years ago and already delivering over 140 sales annually (through channel partners and inhouse BDMs), with national expansion under way into QLD, VIC, and the Hunter • Operating from a collaborative Parramatta head office, the team of 15 works cross-functionally to deliver standardised, scalable homes • Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role ensures designs and packages meet compliance and market needs while transitioning drafting to Revit and embedding robust processes • You’ll oversee drafting workflows, review designs for compliance, and generate sales quotes using CaniBuild and Hyphen Homefront Key Responsibilities • Maintain a portfolio of 10 floorplans per state, with 4 façade options tailored to local markets and regulations • Update and develop floorplans to reflect market needs and ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards, and company policies • Prepare house and land packages in CaniBuild, generating sales quotes based on standard pricing and siting data • Consult with estimating for non-standard elements to adjust pricing and packages accurately • Oversee site plans, house plans, and sales package preparation, ensuring alignment with operational workflows • Record and manage designs, compliance checks, and sales packages using Hyphen Homefront • Collaborate with the Construction Manager to optimise designs for efficiency, safety, and compliance • Support and train Pre-Construction and Sales teams on drafting changes, compliance updates, and processes • Continuously refine workflows and implement improvements to streamline drafting and compliance • Develop and manage an off-shore drafting team Who We're Looking For ✔ Strong background in compliance and drafting within residential construction ✔ Proficiency with Revit is essential ✔ Experience preparing and reviewing designs to ensure compliance with NCC and planning regulations ✔ Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing competing priorities ✔ Clear communicator, proactive problem-solver, and comfortable working cross-functionally ✔ Driven, collaborative, and thrives in a high-performance, fast-paced environment Next Step If you’re ready to take ownership of drafting and compliance in a growing, innovative builder—where your expertise directly shapes the company’s reputation and success—apply now.
