We are currently seeking a driven Recruitment and Operations Lead for a full-time role to join our fast-growing East Coast team, based in our busy Brisbane office in Banyo. The Role The Recruitment and Operations Lead is responsible for guiding the recruitment services team, dedicated to the management of the end-to-end recruitment activity. This will include the ownership and facilitation of all recruitment activity, within the aligned portfolio. This role will work closely with relevant stakeholders whilst contributing to the resourcing needs and long-term goals of Category 5. Duties will Include, but are not limited to: Manage the process for labour hire recruitment, workforce solutions and mobilisation activities of small to large blue-collar workforces for short- and long-term assignments Actively monitor onboarding, compliance, ensuring procedures are followed, payroll and invoicing functions Supporting internal and external business disciplines working within rail, civil and mining industries Scheduling, forecasting, tracking, maintaining databases and internal systems to deliver up to date information of workers on site and across projects Building groups of workers to deliver infrastructure projects, identifying training needs and requirements to work across different work sites, consistently looking for ways to grow the workforce and maintain them Understanding client and site requirements, building on those relationships and supporting their business by providing labour solutions at short notice Work collaboratively with stakeholders internal and external providing best practice solutions and services Champion the organisations vision and values through leading by example in operational excellence, professional behaviour and high standards of work Providing rates to new clients, quotations, contract management, checking all documentation is completed and communicated effectively to internal teams Delegation of recruitment and mobilisation tasks to team supports Monitor stocks of items needed for upcoming jobs, issuing PPE, management of costs Maintain an up to date working knowledge of the mining and track & rail industry to provide advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders, including Hiring Managers and Human Resources.
