Recruitment & Resourcing Specialist Roster: Monday to Friday Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time About the role The Recruitment and Resourcing Specialist is responsible for coordinating and delivering effective recruitment processes to meet client needs while supporting Category 5’s goals and daily branch operations. This includes assisting with administrative tasks and ensuring staff are well-organised, aligned with client demands, and focused on achieving sales outcomes. Skills & experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative role Previous experience in Labour hire/Recruitment (desirable) Certificate IV in Business Administration, or equivalent (desirable) Duties & responsibilities Recruitment Manage the recruitment process including advertising, database sourcing, screening, interviewing and reference checking of candidates Coordinate medicals, client onboarding/ induction requirements and letter of offer Complete administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner, consistent with internal and/or third-party standard operation procedures Develop and implement strategic sourcing methods to build talent pipelines for future works using internal recruitment databases, LinkedIn and Seek. Resource Coordination Create and maintain a training matrix and ensure candidate qualifications and compliance are up to date. Coordinate onboarding, inductions, training, PPE, and ensure staff are job ready before deployment. Maintain regular contact with candidates through calls, site visits, and engagement activities. Support scheduling, prioritising, and directing field staff work assignments and logistics. Communicate effectively with clients and teams regarding job updates, start dates, and requirements. Ensure new client onboarding and ongoing processes comply with company policies and procedures. Manage timesheet approvals and follow up on outstanding or escalated issues with clients or managers.
