Join Our Team at Nextt Group – Casual Disability Support Worker (North Brisbane) Nextt Group is currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and engaging Disability Support Worker to join our passionate team on a casual basis. This role will provide support across Brisbane’s Northside, including the Zillmere area, working within Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community access settings. You'll be supporting clients who require high-quality, person-centred care—helping them with daily living activities, encouraging independence, and working alongside them to achieve their personal goals. About the role Privide support with daily living activities, personal care, and community access Support clients with psychosocial disabilities, useing trauma-informed and recovery-orient approaches Preform manual handling tasks safely and in line with support plans. Administer or assist with medication support as required Accuratly document progress notes and report any concerns in timely manner Shifts Working hours will vary and may include standard shifts from 9:00pm to 5:00pm , early morning shifts from 5:00am to 9:00am , sleepover shifts, and additional support shifts as required. Pay Rates E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL) SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 Your Certificates and Licences: NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current) Working with Children Check (Current) Australian Driver's License Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You First Aid and CPR (Current) All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
