The role is a fixed term contract, site based at French’s Forest in Sydney, working on a large commercial project. We are looking for a team member that has a great attitude, is collaborative by nature and detail orientated. Some of the key responsibilities will be; Responsible for security and safety of the site Inducting all site staff and contractors Assisting the site manager in setting out and management of the project Logging of weekly site inspection records and pictures Liaising with Pluim office confirming subcontractors cleared to work on site Assisting the site manager in identifying site specific issues that affect site safety Directing and coordinating contractors to ensure that the work environment is well ordered, clean, clear and safe; Assist with ensuring site amenities are clean, functional and fully stocked Ensure materials are stored correctly Oversee execution of site construction processes Control of miscellaneous purchasing of site material Supervision of site personnel and subcontractors Control of miscellaneous purchasing of site material Materials delivery co-ordination Assist with managing site compliance with the organisations WHS management system Construction site set out and construction detailing supervision Deliver various construction tasks including all and varied custom carpentry requirements collaborating with other trades to plan, set out, check, verify details between trades reviewing drawings, details, elevations, shop drawings of all trades to ensure you eliminate clashes/poor construction detailing Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes Required Proven ability to effectively communicate requirements with contractors, suppliers and clients.
