My client’s is a rapidly growing independent Behavioural Optometrist practice located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, that specialises in primary care, neuro-optometry and vision therapy, helping children and adults with learning difficulties related to vision, concussions, and brain injuries to improve their vision and quality of life They are looking for a trainee optical assistannt who is ready to make a big difference to their patients’ lives, and who enjoys working autonomously in a destination practice. As a key patient ambassador, their dispensing team is responsible for supporting our patients select lenses and frames, sunglasses and accessories, reception, phone bookings, as well as pre-testing patients. Who they need: You will have retail/customer service experience Be prepared to do a certificate in optical dispensing (paid for by employer) Have a willingness to continue to develop professional skills A positive attitude, strong personal ethics and professionalism What’s on offer: Competitive salary depending upon experience Full-time role (a part-time role can be discussed) No weekend work, no late nights On the job training will be provided, plus comprehensive training and support.
