Description The Security Officers role is to patrol the premises, respond to emergency incidents monitor all CCTV, alarms, telephone and radio systems, lift and access door operations (in the capacity of a Control Room Operator) to meet the contractual requirements of the Royal Children’s Hospital under the direction of the Security Team Leader Security Supervisor or Security and Carpark Manager. Responsibilities Good knowledge of security alarm and management systems, including access/egress, CCTV and building automation management systems Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices Knowledge of customer service practices Qualifications Licensed Security Officer for Victoria (current) Certificate III in Security Operations Control Room Operator Endorsement.
