ABOUT THE ROLE This is more than your typical call centre role. As a Sales and Service Consultant, you’ll play a key part in helping customers navigate life insurance with ease. From guiding them through applications to handling service queries and tele-underwriting calls, you’ll be the friendly voice delivering an industry-best experience. You’ll work closely with teams across underwriting, operations, and product – all while helping build a better, simpler way of doing insurance. DUTIES Deliver exceptional customer experiences via phone and email Complete customer applications over the phone, building trust and rapport Conduct tele-underwriting interviews to gather risk-related information Accurately process new applications and customer service requests Identify service improvements and support operational efficiencies Collaborate with internal stakeholders and distribution partners SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 2 years in a similar sales or service role (insurance experience a bonus) Strong phone-based communication and relationship-building skills Proven ability to balance compliance with commercial outcomes A service-first attitude with the confidence to guide and influence Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy Knowledge of call centre systems and life insurance products (desirable) RG146 certification or willingness to obtain (advantageous) BENEFITS Lovely, modern offices in the Sydney CBD with immaculate views!
