The Role This is a specialist legal role embedded in a delivery-first, construction-centric business at the coalface of Australia’s clean energy rollout. As the Front-End Construction Lawyer, you will lead legal and commercial structuring for a wide array of renewable energy projects—from grid-scale solar farms and battery storage systems to high-voltage substation builds and complex network connections. You’ll work at pace across tenders, risk assessments, procurement strategies, and negotiations—acting as a key enabler of executable contracts that can stand up to the real-world demands of construction delivery. Whether it’s shaping the legal model for a new HV connection, negotiating construction timelines with tier-one EPC contractors, or advising on performance security under a BESS agreement, you will sit within the delivery engine of the business.
